Anna Mae is a sweet, sweet girl. She is a little timid when you first meet her, but she's very loving and would love to just sit on the couch with you and watch tv while you stroke her fur. She's not an active girl, so she would do better with a more sedate family or a senior.

We require potential adopters to fill out an application, and a home check is also part of the process. We look at each dog and each adopter on an individual basis and work to create a lasting and forever bond. All companion animals must be spayed or neutered, UTD on vaccinations, and on heartworm preventative. Our adoption fee is $250 unless otherwise noted.

Ruff Love was founded by Sue Rogers in response to the overwhelming numbers of abandoned dogs in the Randolph County/Davidson County area. Over time, we have developed a network of volunteers and foster homes. Our rescue efforts are geared toward dogs. We are a 501(c)(3)non-profit organization so all donations to us are tax deductible. Currently, we are caring for over 100 dogs in our program, and almost 70 are adoptable. Most of the dogs that are not up for adoption are either old or are suffering from chronic health conditions. They will live out their days well cared for and comfortable in with Ruff Love Rescue.
