My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a loving, loyal companion who’s equal parts snugglebug and adventure buddy? Meet Hayden, a sweet and affectionate pittie who’s happiest when she’s soaking up attention from her people. Whether it’s belly rubs, head scratches, or couch cuddles, Hayden is always ready for some quality bonding time!

She enjoys running around with her doggy friends, but she’s not a fan of roughhousing—she prefers a little space when playing. If another pup gets too rowdy, she’s not afraid to set polite boundaries. She also likes to protect her toys, so she’d thrive in a home with another calm, respectful dog who understands her style. Hayden loves leisurely walks, zooming around the yard, and then curling up for a well-earned nap on the couch. A fenced yard would be great for her, but it’s not a must if her family is dedicated to exercise and training.

If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who will keep you warm on the couch and smiling on your walks, Hayden is your girl! Come meet her and let her steal your heart.

Additional adoption info

If a particular pooch has caught your eye or if you’re searching for a new furry family member, take a few minutes to complete our online adoption application or stop by our Adoption Events to visit with our adoptable pups.

Our application review team will contact you as they process your application and check with your references. Applications are reviewed in the order they are received, but our primary responsibility is to find the best home for each individual dog and the best match for you and your family regardless of application order. We want to see that every animal and family are well-suited as a forever match.

Our adoption fees vary by the animal’s age and specific breed. All adopted dogs will receive vaccinations against distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus, as well as flea/tick treatments and de-worming. Dogs who are too young to be spayed/neutered and vaccinated against rabies will receive vouchers to one of our local veterinary partners.

Please contact us with any additional questions! We are available by phone at 847-566-6799, through our website, or through direct messaging on Facebook. We’re happy to answer any questions and work with you as you search for your new family member!
