Meet Buttercup – The Smart, Alert, and Sweet Girl Ready for Her Forever Home!

Buttercup is one of Lucky Lucy’s seven adorable puppies, and she’s the perfect mix of intelligence, curiosity, and sweetness! This 13-week-old German Shepherd and Malinois mix is always alert and eager to learn, making her a great fit for an active home that will nurture her sharp mind.

While she’s incredibly smart, Buttercup also has a gentle and loving side—she enjoys affection, playtime, and bonding with her humans. Like her littermates, she’s well-socialized and litter box trained, giving her a great foundation to thrive in her future home.

Currently in Southern California but can travel for the right home!
Up to date on vaccines (Rabies vaccine due at 4 months)

More about this rescue

Our mission is to save the lives of dogs facing euthanasia in high-kill shelters nationwide by pledging funds that enable rescues to take in, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need. On occasion, if we do not have a local rescue in place in the city the dogs are in, we bring them to Illinois to avoid their euthanasia. They are placed in boarding for vetting, once done, they are promoted for fostering or adoption.
