My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ice!

A striking almost two-year-old German Shepherd from Wimauma, FL, whose intelligence and athleticism make him a truly remarkable companion. With his unique fawn-colored coat and confident stance, Ice turns heads wherever he goes. He’s not just a handsome face—this bright boy has received professional training, including sessions with renowned trainers, and he’s eager to keep learning. Whether it’s practicing commands, going for long walks, or working on tasks that challenge his sharp mind, Ice is always ready to engage!

True to his breed, Ice is energetic, loyal, and thrives when given a job to do. He knows an impressive list of commands, from the basics like “sit” and “stay” to advanced cues like “find me” and “gentleman” (where he politely waits for you to walk through the door first). His laser focus and drive would make him a great fit for an active household or even a working role where he can put his skills to good use. Ice is strong, fast, and loves to run, so he’ll need a secure, fenced space to stretch his legs safely.

When it comes to people, Ice is a friendly and affectionate pup who enjoys meeting new friends, going on car rides, and visiting the park. His love for water means he’s always up for a splash, and he’s happiest when he has a task or a fun adventure ahead! He gets along with some dogs—most he just wants to play with! He also has been friendly with some cats, though he may need slow introductions. However, his strength and enthusiasm mean he may be too strong for young children, so a home without small kids would be the best fit for him.

Ice’s ideal family will be experienced with high-energy, intelligent dogs and ready to take on the role of a strong pack leader. He’s looking for a home where he’ll get plenty of exercise, training, and mental stimulation to keep his brilliant mind engaged. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who’s as eager to work as he is to love, Ice might be the perfect addition to your pack! Could this incredible pup be the one for you?

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our ultimate goal is to unite as many animals with loving pet parents as possible, so we strive to make it easy to adopt a dog or cat you have fallen in love with. All we ask is that you fill out an adoption application so that we have all the information we need to determine that you'll be able to provide a safe and compassionate home to one of our rescued pets. Once approved, all you need to do is sign our adoption agreement form and provide an adoption donation so that we can continue to save more animals every day and unite them with families just like yours.
