Meet Hattie!
Sweet Hattie was surrendered to a busy shelter by her family for being a senior dog. Hattie was understandably nervous when she first came to us. She loves to be pet and picked up and has now gained the confidence to seek it out herself. Hattie will need an adopter who can allow her the time to feel safe and come out of her shell which doesn't take long with this girl. We think having another gentle, well balanced dog in the home would benefit her as well.
Hattie is very food motivated and is easy to win over with some yummy treats, she has been brave and explored her new surroundings outside on leash and is comfortable in a crate. Hattie does have luxating patellas which limits her mobility slightly. She can only tolerate easy going walks and does take an anti inflammatory. We love seeing this girl settle in each day, be sure to keep your eyes peeled on Instagram (@nwdogproject) for updates! If you would like to be considered as Hattie's forever home, be sure to submit an adoption application on our website!
Adoption fee includes; spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, dewormer, fecal testing, flea/tick prevention and age-appropriate vaccines.
Hattie would do great in a home with...
Cats : Yep!
Dogs : Yep!
Kiddos : Yep!
