Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Holly, a 4 year old Corgi who has had a really rough start to life and will need a home that can offer a lot of patience and love.
Holly is not yet house trained, but she is consistent with going to the bathroom on her pee pads. Potty training is very slow because she’s not accustomed to a leash yet. She likes to turn into a little alligator and roll. There have been a couple of times that she will sniff and pee outside in between her rolling episodes. But it’s been a slow process getting her used to a leash and we are trying a harness. She does very well in a kennel/pen and is calm when we leave the house and overnight. Because she is still so scared, that’s been her favorite place to be so she can rest. She also LOVES her stuffed animals and loves to cuddle and nuzzle them.
Holly is great with my two resident dogs and cats. She loves to watch their behavior and has shown interest in wanting to play with them, but she’s still working on coming out of her shell. But she is getting excited and is starting to wag her little tail during morning routines!
Holly will need a calm home and it’s preferable if you have another calm dog or two in the house. Right now she’s just so scared of everything; loud noises, storms, etc. It will be a while until her personality comes out and needs so much love and patience. She loves to be held in a blanket so she can cuddle and relax and have that sense of security. She cannot wait to find her forever family and start living the good life!
Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Dental, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:
