My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Up for adoption are Liesel and Lila, a beautiful bonded pair of petite Lab mixes, who are about 12-18 months old, calm, house trained, weigh about 49 lbs. each, are VERY easy to have around and are as sweet as they come...❤...We can tell these girls were someone's pets at some point, because they are very comfortable living in a house...Unfortunately, their short term foster couldn't hold them any longer, so Liesel and Lila had to go into boarding and they are confused...We would like to get them into a home ASAP...These two are good on a leash, love to cuddle with people as much as each other and LOVE children and other dogs...🥰...They have been untested with cats, but because of their lovely dispositions, would probably be fine.

If you are interested in adopting Liesel and Lila as a pair and live in the Northeast OR Texas, please fill out an adoption application and we will be in touch promptly...Let's find these girls the home of their dreams ASAP...🙏🙏🙏...Adoption fee for Liesel and Lila is $325 each = $750, with includes complete vetting, medical record, new bed, bones, balls, collars, harnesses, leashes, food for transitioning and transportation.

They are currently in foster in Texas.

Additional adoption info

Once we have saved a dog and they have been examined by our veterinarian, we take the time to evaluate their personality, energy level, medical/physical needs (if any), and overall behavior. Based on this information, we review each application, looking for a home that will best meet each dog's individual needs. If your application looks like it would be a good match for the dog you applied for, we will contact you within one week.

Please be patient as we are staffed with volunteers. Please note, if you are not selected, it is not a reflection of you as a potential dog owner. Our decision to move forward in the adoption process is based on each dog's evaluation/assessment and information we receive on the adoption application. We hope you can appreciate our goal to find the right forever home for every dog we save....❤

More about this rescue

We began as a Facebook page established in 2015 as a place for lovers of labs to share photos, stories, information and support. We then evolved into a rescue community in early 2016 when our founder discovered Angus sitting in a shelter in Gordon County, Georgia. Our Facebook 'village' responded to her challenge and stepped up to help provide Angus with the vet care he needed before he could be adopted. Unfortunately, Angus was not able to complete his journey, but he quickly became the inspiration for our group. Today, our village is instrumental in helping us find homes for our dogs through its generous donations, fundraising efforts, networking our dogs across their Facebook pages, and – most importantly - opening up their homes and hearts for foster and adoption. Please feel free to join our Facebook group.
