Eggnog arrives in Wisconsin on March 23rd.

Eggnog is an adorable mixed breed who is about 5-6 years old and weighs about 15 pounds. In his foster home he has showed good house manners and he also does well in a crate. He lives with other dogs in his foster home and is also good with respectful children.

Eggnog was rescued off a busy street in Texas after running around for at least five days. The rescue is so thankful he avoided being hit by any vehicles and made it safely to a foster home. He was shy and played hard to get on the streets but once indoors, we learned he LOVES people. Eggnog loves being in your lap, snuggling in bed and sticking close to his foster family. He wants to be the first one to greet you when you get home! Eggnog is fostered with other dogs but doesn’t necessarily need a dog companion.

Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care.

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
