My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Have you ever seen a more perfect face? Part charming gentleman, part loyal best friend, Chase is just a dream all around.

Estimated to be around 2 years old, sweet Chase is young, trainable and full of wide-eyed joy and wonder for the world. We believe Chase is a Pittie Lab mix, but he is a rescue so these are just our best guesses.

Meet Chase here: https://youtu.be/mzk_J3HKUZE?feature=shared

This sweet boy is just a perfect polite gentleman with everyone he meets. He loves everyone, his foster mom reports. Meeting Chase is all tail-wags and kisses, occasionally he can be a bit shy for the first few moments in new environments. He warms up so quickly though, with gentle voices and a few soft pets. His love for humanity extends to children as well. He has spent time with kids as young as 7, and he’s done well with them. We believe Chase would do wonderfully as a family dog with kids aged five and up.

With other dogs, Chase is such a polite greeter and a friend to all. He has spent time in doggy daycare before and has had fun with all of the dogs he’s met! He has absolutely no conflict drive, which is such an important marker of a wonderfully well behaved dog. Chase is currently fostered with a one year old large breed dog, they love to hang out and play together! Chase can be a bit of a rough and rowdy player when he’s overly excited, but he has a calmer playstyle indoors and with dogs he knows well. We believe Chase's perfect dog friend in the home would be a medium energy goofy girl, a fun-loving dog like himself that will be happy to hang out and play all day. However Chase did well meeting the dogs we introduced him to.

Chase’s foster mom describes him as medium energy, and comments that she’s only heard him bark a few times. He’s an easy going good boy, quiet and well behaved enough to live in a home without a yard. However, we do suspect, knowing Chase’s playstyle, that he would be happiest in a home with a yard.

Toys, fetch, treats and snuggling- these are Chase’s favorite things. Walks are the key to his heart, and while he’s perfecting his leash manners, he’s absolutely a fast learner. A few moments of practice with a new handler here at the rescue, and he was a perfect walking companion.

Chase will be a perfect family dog. He’s such a sweet and snuggly boy that he’ll truly be a perfect companion for just about anyone looking to be adored. We are willing to test Chase with anything you need us to in order to ensure he is the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know.

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.
Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!
Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded.
It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:
● Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family
● Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time.
