My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Nikina! Aka Niki.

Niki is a truly amazing dog. She was found wet, muddy and abandoned, but would never let that dampen her spirit! She can maintain her bubbly personality throughout anything.

This sweet girl LOVES to run zoomies in the yard with her doggy friends...but she also LOVES to snuggle up with you on the couch and watch some tv!

Niki is everything you could ask for in a dog. She is great in the house, perfect in a kennel, knows basic obedience, and walks well on leash. She would do great with an active family that can take her on all sorts of adventures, but she doesn't need to be doing something all the time. She's completely fine with supporting you on those days you just need to take it easy!

Niki is up to date on all of her vaccines, takes her preventive meds like a champ and is spayed and microchipped.

More about this rescue

Arctic Rescue Southwest (ARSW) was launched with the goal of providing much needed support to the arctic breed community.

ARSW moved from New Mexico to North Carolina in 2019.

ARSW focuses primarily on pulling dogs from kill shelters, and educating owners to help dogs stay in homes. We provide training and advice on dealing with numerous behavioral problems. Our goals are to find our dogs suitable forever homes, and minimize the number of dogs that end up in shelters.

If you have any questions, or are interested in adopting a dog, please contact us at ARSW@arcticrescue.com
