Meet Nautalis – The Playful & Snuggly Pup!

Nautalis is a 3.5-month-old, 15-pound (as of 3/15) Jack Russell mix who is full of spunk, energy, and love! This little guy is fearless, playful, and always ready for an adventure—except maybe when it's a little too dark at night (but shh, that’s our secret!).

Nautalis adores people and other dogs, making friends wherever he goes. He loves playing with toys, getting treats, and cuddling up with his favorite humans when he’s ready to relax. He’s already excelling in potty training, quickly picking up both house training and pee pad training like a pro!

While still a young pup, Nautalis is a fast learner—he’s currently working on “sit” and shows great enthusiasm for training. He’s teething, so he sometimes mouths lightly, but he’s doing great with redirection to toys and chews. He barks out of excitement or when his dog friends do, but he’s not a big barker when left alone.

Though he hasn’t started leash training yet, Nautalis is a great little traveler, staying calm in the car and even napping during rides. He’s still learning about the world, but with his confident and affectionate nature, he’s sure to grow into a fantastic companion for any loving home.

Submit Application

Complete an adoption application for either a Dog or Cat here: https://www.pupstarzrescue.org/application

2.
Interview

We will review your application, set up time to discuss your needs/preferences, and conduct reference checks.

3.
Home Check

We will schedule a virtual home check that takes approximately 20-30 minutes, talking to you about adoption and any concerns you may have.

4.
Meet the Pet

Once your interview is complete, we will connect you with the foster parent to meet the dog/cat.

5.
Pay Fee

You will pay the adoption fee and take home your new family member!

6.
Take the Pet Home

You'll bring home your new family member!

PupStarz Rescue is an animal welfare group committed to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs and cats in public shelters at high risk of euthanasia, as well as those in danger of abuse. We are committed to rescuing as many animals as possible, saving over 4,500 dogs and cats since 2015.

PupStarz Rescue is a foster-based rescue, relying on fosters to open their homes and lives to our Animals. Animals in our care receive proper medical care, including alteration, vaccinations, and microchipping.

PupStarz Rescue ensures that adoptions are an appropriate match for both the animal and their new family by educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a furry companion into their lives.

We are committed to the welfare of our "Starz" beyond the adoption process. We maintain open communication with our adopters to ensure a smooth transition, and offer additional support such as positive training techniques.
