Carmen <3 What can we say? She is precious in her looks and in her spirit. She is filled with light and love. Named for the day we got her being the anniversary of the premiere of the opera, "Carmen", she is every bit the sweetness of that character, without the dramatic flair. She is happy to be with other dogs, but doesn't necessarily need them. She is funny, snuggly, stands up on her hind legs when she is excited, and loves sitting on your lap. Neshama Rescue is an all volunteer independent, 501(c)(3) animal welfare and education organization. Our mission is to promote the rescue and adoption of companion animals, with a focus on senior and special needs pets. We believe every soul has intrinsic value and we seek to help communities see that value to create a kinder world. Our goals are to rescue animals from shelters, place them in loving foster homes, and adopt them out to forever homes, as well as strengthen our communities’ education, laws and regulations regarding animal overpopulation and care.
