My name is Pippa!

Say hello to Pippa! This beautiful dog was brought in as a stray from the reservation. Within a few weeks of being at rescue, it became apparent that she was... pregnant! Surprise! Pippa gave birth to six puppies (two are still looking for forever homes!) and has done a great job raising and weaning them. Now it's MAMA's turn to be in the spotlight! Pippa is approximately one-and-a-half-years-old and weighs 56-pounds. Initially we thought Pippa was some sort of Cattle Dog mix... Pippa is full of surprises though! We DNA tested one of her puppies, and they are a mix of Border Collie, American Staffordshire Terrier, Greyhound, Mastiff, English Shepherd and Rottweiler... which means Pippa has to be some mix of those breeds too! Pippa has a high energy level and would love to do lots of active things with you. Walks, runs, hikes, you name it- Pippa is game! She enjoys going on long walks and is super curious about her surroundings. Pippa also enjoys chasing toys and is working on bringing them back for a game of fetch. Pippa is a smart gal who would love to learn all kinds of things in her new home. Pippa is a very social and outgoing dog who loves to meet new people. She will cover you with kisses and loves to give hugs if you get down on her level to say hello. She would do best in a home with older children, as she could accidentally knock down small children, due to her energy level. Pippa has a very forward greeting style with other dogs. We believe she would do best with another dog who is tolerant of her energy-level. A dog intro will be required prior to adopting.
