Rusty is a little over 1 year old, we rescued him as a young puppy living on his own in the mountains of Kentucky. We brought him home to Indiana and he's been with us for about 6 months. There's still some feral dog in him, tends to have a mind of his own but that's partly to do with the breed. He's much better than when we started, but still has a few bad habits, likes to jump up and chew random things. He's young yet so I think he can be trained by someone with more experience. Full of energy, loves to run and explore, makes a great companion if you have the time. He's not fully house broken, would do better on a farm with lots of room to run. Likes to pursue small game, will chase cats and chickens. He's a nice looking dog, has a lot of upside. We don't have a big yard anymore so we cant keep tying him up or sticking him in a kennel. He likes to jump up or stand on his hind legs so not ideal for small kids, he's a little too playful in that regard. Not aggressive, very friendly.
