My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jam! Jam is a one year old, calm and easy going pit mix. He has unique and beautiful markings. He is currently about 40lbs. He easily goes in his crate when his foster mom leaves the house and can be left in another room unsupervised without being destructive when she is home. He does prefer to be in the same room as his foster mom but doesn’t get underfoot. Jam is working on potty training and is coming along with it but does need help. He gets along with dogs he has met and plays with his foster sister who is about his size and age. He is respectful of his older foster sister and will lay with her but seems to understand that she doesn’t play. Jam appears to be timid in new situations but does his best to please his foster mom as she gains his trust. He enjoys chewing on bones but doesn’t play with toys yet. He walks well on a leash.

If we find a good match for you, you can pay the adoption fee, sign the contract, and take the pet home!

Additional adoption info

Adopters fill out a no-obligation contract. If approved, they will fill out a contract for the animal. Adoption fees are $200 per dog ($250 for puppies 6 months and younger) and $60 for cats ($100 for kittens), which includes spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip registration, deworming medications, heartworm and flea preventative.

This is a small, foster based rescue run by volunteers. Please be patient as it may take a few days to approve your application.
