My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a young, friendly pair of tabbies to brighten up your home? Only six months old, Meadow & Forest are a wonderful pair who will do just that! Forest is the braver of the two and is an adorable little girl. She has the softest fur you’ll ever feel – look at her tail! Meadow is super sweet with equally soft and silky fur but is definitely the shyer of the two girls. She takes her cues from Forest, who is more outgoing. Both girls love to play with any toys around, especially wand toys! They love to climb high in the cat tree to watch their surroundings below or snuggle up together for a nap. They are very curious and enjoy observing anyone and everything around them. These girls LOVE their Churu treats and will happily chirp for them as soon as they see them. Forest loves her sister dearly, but is not above stealing her Churus! Forest loves to chat with everyone and will reply to your questions with the cutest little chirps. Forest & Meadow are good with other cats and while they did live with a dog in their foster home, it will be best if they are the only pets in your home. As Meadow is still shy, we recommend older children only. Forest & Meadow are bonded and MUST be adopted together

Forest & Meadow came to us as young kittens from a colony. They are growing by leaps and bounds every day in their socialization journey and are ready to find their forever home at last!

Meadow & Forest will make a great addition to the perfect home, which will allow them all the time and patience they need to gain confidence and show you how sweet they are! Keep lots of Churus on hand, and you will win them over in no time!

More about this rescue

Home at Last Rescue (HALR) is a Registered Canadian Charity, that is 100% volunteer driven. Our goal is to rescue cats from substandard living conditions and give them the loving homes they deserve.

We provide medical care, emotional support and a loving environment while preparing them to find their forever homes. With no physical location, all of our cats and kittens reside in loving foster homes across the Greater Toronto Area until they are ready for adoption.

We receive no government funding and rely solely on adoption fees, donations and our fundraising efforts to support our initiatives. We believe there is a home for every cat and a cat for every home.
