My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey friends! My name is Honeydew, and I`m cute lil` female Retriever mix puppy! I was brought to the shelter with my siblings because we didn`t have a home or a human to take care of us. Our mother is still out their somewhere, and hopefully she gets brought to the shelter so that she can have a chance to have a home too! Like most puppies, I`m friendly, energetic, and love making new friends. Puppies are a lot of work and require lots of patience and understanding, and most importantly, love! We are also lots of fun! If you don`t already have a dog, maybe consider adopting one of my siblings with me---that way, I would always have a friend and playmate! I would love to have lots of toys, a comfy bed, and a fenced-in yard to keep me safe during playtime. Before I go home with you, I will be spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. If you`re looking for a new canine companion, I would love to meet you today! I can`t wait to have a FOREVER home with you!

More about this shelter

Caddo Parish Animal Services is an open-admission shelter meaning no homeless animal is turned away. Our goal is to reunite lost pets with their owners and when that is not possible, find a new home for them, provided that they are healthy and not aggressive.
