Blue Sierra is a really stunning young 8 month old, 22 pound Blue Heeler that came to a farm in Tennessee as a stray with her sister Blue Lola. She does not pay any attention to cats, and would be best as the ONLY dog. She wants to be the queen.

This girl is the Heeler personality that loves to be with her people, stay by your side and embodies the exuberance of the Herding Breed coupled with their intense intelligence. We always say that this breed of dog is smarter than most people we know! They can figure out problems and solve them totally on their own. They never miss a beat with what is going on around them and they have a memory like an Elephant. If you are familiar with the breed, have owned one or know a friend with one…you are probably smitten for life. Once you have had a Heeler it is hard to consider a dog with less of a zest for life than this breed. This girl has not got the manners down pat yet. She was probably outside on her own for a while, but we know she can learn in two seconds. Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website.
