COURTESY POST: Maggie is a sweet dog who loves spending her days lounging around or going for short walks. She is a laid back girl who is happy to lay out back or post up on a couch in the sunlight all day long. Maggie is quite the hunter and mouser so if you have a mouse issue and are not interested in owning a cat Maggie, will handle the mice for you.

She walks perfectly on a leash and says hi well to other dogs. She is however dog selective within her own house and would do best with a confident dog or another dog who is also laid back.

Maggie is a people dog. She loves every person she meets and knows no strangers. She is fully house broken and has no interest in chewing anything up.

She is 8 and she is truly a mixed breed. We have no idea mix of what, but we have been told by the vet and trainer she is likely a cattle dog mixed with a hound.

Additional adoption info

All adoptions require an application, reference checks and a homecheck (for dogs only). Adoption fees are between $200 and $400 for dogs, depending on age of dog and between $75 and $300 for cats, also depending on the age/breed. An adoption contract must be signed.

We are a small, non-profit rescue dedicated to saving as many small dog (all breeds) and cats as we can. All of our dogs are in foster homes until adoption.
