Millie was rescued in North Carolina, and was very timid and fearful as a puppy. We dont know her early days but she has since come out of her shell with us.
She still gets nervous and while she loves kids of all ages she should be in a home with gentle older kids, not toddlers.
We have since lost her brother and best friend, an older dog who raised her. She is lonely without him and we have a young child to tend to, she isnt getting the attention she needs. She is high on love needs. We also have an international move on the horizon and she cannot come with us unfortunately, in addition to one of our cats who will also be listed on here, a black cat named Owl. Millie loves friendly cats and it would be great if she and Owl could go together but they are not bonded. Owl would prefer to be either with Millie or a single cat. She likely wouldn't do well with other hyper dogs. Millie would love a dog friend but she is fearful of new dogs and the dog would have to be very gentle.
