Take the Pet Home
We recently received these pictures of not one pug mix, but two. Two boys wandering the streets, seeking food and shelter during the cold nights. When we started asking about them, we learned they've been wandering outside for quite some time now, and the people in their neighborhood have been trying to help them out. Some have been giving them food, and someone even gave one of them a sweater, which was so lovely of them.
We’ve learned that they are both very sweet, playful boys. And they and show their appreciation through affection to those who have been trying to help them out. Everyone says they’re very well-behaved.
We decided to name them Ben and Jerry. A foster agreed to bring them inside for us. According to her, the crying was heartbreaking to hear when they attempted to separate them. They are BONDED to each other, and we have promised that we will not separate them. They are both estimated to be a year and a half old; one weighs 11 pounds and the other weighs 16 pounds. They have been fully vetted and are up to date on their vaccinations.
Ben & Jerry will be arriving to NJ on 3/22/25. Once you are approved to adopt them, you can set up a meet and greet.
