At just 6 months old and under 20lbs, these lovable pups are the perfect size for families of all kinds. Despite their rough start, having been found in a crate abandoned outside an office, they have the most gentle, calm, and affectionate personalities. The woman who discovered them rushed them to our rescue, heartbroken by their emaciated condition. But through it all, these pups have remained full of love, always eager for a snuggle or a belly rub.
Now, after receiving the care and attention they so desperately needed, they are ready to bring joy, warmth, and loyalty to a family that will cherish them. If you're looking for a medium-sized companion who will steal your heart as quickly as they stole ours, the Dr. Seuss litter is the perfect match. Border Tails Rescue is a licensed no-kill animal rescue and welfare organization dedicated to the rescue and adoption of stray dogs across the world, with a unique focus on Mexico. Border Tails Rescue has a physical shelter facility with dogs on site for viewing everyday. Border Tails Rescue primarily works with rural shelters across the country, including but not limited to TX, AR, AL, LA, KY, IN, and MI on a regular basis as well as CACC, Chicago’s open intake shelter. BTR is Woman-founded by Harleigh Garcia, who was 20 years old at the time. The organization was founded in December of 2019 and Border Tails Rescue is registered with Illinois Secretary of State as a non profit organization. Border Tails Rescue operates entirely on donations and adoption fees.
