Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Gil is a big German Shepherd mix boy, weighing 24 lbs at 3 months. He is crate trained and his house training is progressing well. He plays hard with the other pups and then takes a long nap. He is beginning to play with a ball but doesn’t understand what “fetch” means. He loves to snuggle and listens well. He sits on command and goes into his crate on command. He enjoys the yard and collects sticks as snacks. He is a typical big puppy, at times stumbling over his big feet. Gil is learning to climb on chairs and the sofa - preferring to nap on furniture than the floor. He likes nylabone chewies, but since is still very much a puppy he will chew on anything. Fortunately, a soft vocal redirection works well as he is anxious to please. He would do fine as the only pup in the home. Will that home be yours?
To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
