My name is Maria!

Where are my sweet mama dog lovers??!! Margarita (aka Maria) traveled to Virginia Beach in July of 2022. She settled in nicely with her adopted mom and was described as a super sweet, snuggle bug. Unfortunately, she is not a fan of her new human sister(who is now a toddler) with another on the way.

She is approximately 5 years old and 33 pounds. She has been at a board and train with our trainer for the last 3 weeks, gaining some confidence and social skills. She is still a bit reactive to some dogs and would prefer to be an only dog and soak up all of the attention! She’s housebroken and crate trained. An ideal adopter would be committed to maintaining structure and using positive reinforcement with Maria. She would greatly benefit from a predictable and supportive environment. Maria has a lot of love to give her person.
