Remington came to rescue recently after being evaluated to be a Service Dog, after being abandoned by his owner (along with his brother, Gunner). He's been through a Prison Training program and has learned so much. Remington has been deemed for a pet/companion home, versus a working dog. The trainer says he has a sweet temperament. He is housetrained and crate trained, having lived in an apartment at the prison, with his inmate trainer. He's had basic obedience. He learned about grooming and good husbandry skills. Remington is good with other dogs. He has not met cats, but doesn't have the personality to bother them. He has not lived with children due to being in the Prison Program but with his great personality, seems to have a lot of potential as a family dog. He will be a medium/large boy, when all grown up and will enjoy an active life.
Remington's adoption fee is $450 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.
