Ah, Mother Earth, the queen of relaxation and cuddles! This loveable lady has brains and beauty, obeying commands - sit, shake, lay down, and yes, roll over. Who’s a good girl? Spoiler alert: It’s Mother Earth! She’s a leash-walking superstar, house trained, trustworthy to hold down the fort when you’re away. She’s great with kids, other dogs, and couldn’t care less about cats. Mother Earth is the perfect house guest in her foster home, friendly, easygoing, and ready to snuggle up at the end of playtime. Est. birthdate is July 26, 2014,her $200 adoption fee includes vaccines up to date, spay and microchip. If you're looking for a low-maintenance, love bug, Mother Earth would love to meet you!

Two by Two Rescue requires that you be at least 21 years of age and sign an adoption contract. If you have pets, they must be up to date on vaccines, spayed or neutered, and on heartworm preventative. A vet reference ( if you have pets) is required. If interested in giving one of our pets a permanent home, please take the first step by completing an adoption application

More about this rescue

Two by Two Rescue began in 2002 when two ladies met and began feeding strays in Old Town Helena, Alabama. The rescue has grown to a 501 C (3) volunteer, no-kill organization. Our goal is to save the lives of abandoned, unwanted, and abused animals, and educate the public about responsible pet care. We care for these rescues in private foster homes. Our animals are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped regardless of breed, age, or medical cost. We receive no state funding or government assistance. We survive by the donations of caring people, fund raising, and adoption fees.
