My name is Everett!

I was adopted from Bradshaw Animal Shelter in Sacramento after being found abandoned on the side of the highway as a little puppy. I live up to the border collie reputation as I am full of energy & I love the thrill of the herd/chase! I am very intelligent and know all my basic obedience and some extra tricks like bow, paw, and roll over. My trainer said they think I would be great at agility. I love my humans and bond quickly. Mom calls me a "velcro" puppy because I am always following her around, trying to crawl on the couch with her, or leaning up against her legs as she cooks. I would love to be with someone who shares my interest in the outdoors, going on walks, playing fetch, and who I can be around for a large part of the day.

*active and eager to please, needs lots of exercise and stimulation
*needs work with loose leash walking and excitability
*has a fear of paws being touched/nail trims
