My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi y’all! 👋🏻 My name is Delilah and I am a 10 year old, 11lb Yorkie girl. I arrived to FCCR with my fellow Yorkies that were rescued from a breeder/owner. I am so happy these nice ladies could take us in. ❤️ I am a delicate little girl and a bit timid, but I am very sweet and once I get to know you and feel safe, I warm right up. 🥰 I get along with other dogs and cats and I think older kids (10 and up) will be just fine. I’m a gentle little lady and don’t want too much commotion or rabble rousing. 😆
I have discovered the soft toys 🧸 in my foster home and I LIKE ☺️ them!!! I hope you have lots of them at your house!! My foster mommy is helping me with house manners and learning to walk on a leash. I am hoping my new family will continue with my training…I want to be the best girl I can be!!! I LOVE being outside in the yard and hanging with my humans…I like it when i get carried too! 💕
If you would like to welcome me into your family, please complete an application through the website, www.floridacockerrescue.org. ADOPTION FEE: $285

More about this rescue

Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue (FCCR) is a non-profit organization located in SW Florida. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing Cocker Spaniels throughout the state of Florida and neighboring states. We rely 100% on donations and volunteers to help us take care of our dogs. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines and rabies, heartworm tested, flea and heartworm treatment, and microchip.

FCCR carefully screens all of our potential furever and foster homes to ensure that our pups will have safe and loving homes. Some of our dogs come from shelters and abusive situations and we want to make sure that they will only see love the rest of their lives.
