My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Griff's mom is a beagle and father a Shar Pei. He has 7 siblings in the rescue. He is adorable and looks like a miniature labrador. Griffy is a very chill pup and sometimes will just sit and watch.

Griff is a bit shy. He loves other dogs and will follow their lead. He is working on being more social and meeting other people.

Griff is a typical puppy, in that he loves racing around and playing with toys and then needs to take a long nap. He is crate trained and sleeps well all night.

He is learning to potty outside very quickly and tries very hard to please, for a treat. Griff walks well on a leash, with few reminders and lots of treats for loose leash walking.

Vaccines will soon be UTD and he will be neutered in the future. He is great with other dogs and could also be an only dog. His adoption fee is $500, which covers all of his vetting and microchip.

In 2018 a group of animal lovers got together to form a special animal rescue.

Every year millions of pets are surrendered to animal shelters and ultimately euthanized. In NY state alone thousands of dogs and cats are neglected, abandoned , homeless , and left in shelters. Seven was one of many pets abandoned by the only family he had ever known.

Seventh Heaven Rescue was created to help any animal in need. Our mission is to try to keep dogs out of shelters as well as rescue dogs that have found themselves in shelters. Our goal is to provide them the love , compassion, kindness , dignity and respect as well as medical care they need and deserve.

Our mission is to honor Seven’s memory in the hope that we can help other dogs and any animal in need just like him find loving families. We are strictly a non for profit organization. All donations go directly to those animals in our care.
