My name is Tugboat!

Meet Tugboat, an ADORABLE 4-5 month old neutered male weim/pointer mix! He has the classic Weim gorgeous light eyes and the cutest little speckled nose, that he loves to sniff the ground on walks (the pointer in him). He is expected to grow to a medium sized dog. 

Tugboat is a friendly, playful puppy who loves everyone! Good with dogs, cats, people, and kids. He is medically up to date, crate trained, and is fully housebroken (no accidents in his crate or in the home, he's still a pup so he does need more potty breaks than an adult dog. As long as he is getting out to potty enough, he passes housetraining with FLYING colors! He truly is one smart pooch! He is wonderful on leash, and has a very sweet, easy, laid back temperament. Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!
