What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Tula was adopted 8 years ago from Rhode Home Rescue. She was four months old when we brought her home. She is a gentle giant. She is skittish around new people including children. She is sweet yet stubborn. Tula cowers when around new people including children. She has grown up with another dog without any issues yet doesn't seem to care for other dogs in the neighborhood. Tula is not aggressive but will let you know when she wants space by giving a growl or shying away. She loves the young children she lives with but is nervous around new ones she meets. She was crate trained as a puppy and adolescent but she would prefer to be a lap dog if she could. Tula's needs for connection are not being met through no fault of her own. She lives in a house with young children and a busy schedule that's only getting busier. In a perfect world Tula would thrive on a farm chasing rabbits and squirrels and sleeping at the foot of her owners bed every night.
