What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Cody is a lovable, energetic black Lab who has been a cherished part of our family since he was a puppy. He grew up alongside my three boys, another dog, and even cats, always eager to be part of the action—whether it was running in the yard, playing ball, or curling up for cuddles. He lives for fetch and never turns down a good chest rub. His gentle nature makes him great with kids, and he greets people like old friends.
At almost seven years old, Cody is crate-trained, well-behaved, and just wants to be included. However, while he grew up with other pets, he isn’t comfortable around new animals and can get defensive. He would do best as the only pet in a home where he can be the center of attention. After losing my wife to cancer, I can’t give him the love and energy he deserves. Cody thrives on joy, play, and companionship, and I want to find him a home where he’ll be cherished. If you have room in your heart for a loyal, affectionate best friend, Cody is ready to be yours.
