MEET SWEET DAISY! Daisy is a 4-year-old pure white German Shepherd in need of a foster or forever home. she was impounded at a crowded California shelter in September 2024 and was such a good girl they kept her for months until she was rescued. Daisy is great with other dogs and people, and a total love. She is gentle, sweet, mellow and loving. She weighs 62 lbs. Please email for an application.

We have an extensive application and spend time with potential applicants to make sure we match people with the right dogs. We also have a 100% return policy as we understand sometimes adoptions just do not work out.

Freedom Ride Rescue Inc. is an active 501(c)(3) animal rescue based in Ventura, Calif. We rescue dogs and cats primarily from overcrowded California shelters, and do our best to find wonderful homes for them. We also take in many owner surrenders every year. We adopt dogs to people in many states, and have a high success rate with our adoptions. We do our best to match people with the right dogs.
