Foxi is a total hoot! This girl has a ton of joy and a playful personality. She just loves life! We rescued Foxi after she had been left behind by her former owner at a homeless shelter in June 2024. Foxi came to our rescue on 3/9/25 after waiting such a long time at the homeless shelter for an outcome. We loved her personality and decided to bring Foxi into our program.
- Approximately 1.5 years old and 56 pounds but should weigh 50 pounds. She's a little chunky monkey currently.
- We aren't entirely sure of Foxi's breed mix but if we were guessing we would say Bull Terrier/Husky mix. She's a shorty!
- Good with other dogs and fostered with a female medium sized dog and a male small dog
- Cats unknown
- Loves people and has met kids as young as 3 years old and done well with them
- Crate trained. Goes in for a treat and is calm in the crate.
- No leash reactivity noted
- Good with her potty habits
- Will load into the car and is nice on car rides
- Very playful and animated, fun girl ready to be your bestie and adventure buddy. She is up for pretty much anything.

Foxi is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, dewormed, and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner vet clinics in Oregon City, Milwaukie, Portland or Tualatin.

Interview
We give you a call over the phone. If we think you and the dog could be a good match we provide you with the foster home's contact info.

Meet the Pet
Call the foster home and set up a time to meet the dog you're interested in.
4.
Home Check
If you like the dog and want to finalize the adoption, we would drop the dog off at your home during a home visit.
5.
Sign Adoption Contract
We will email or provide you a physical copy of the adoption contract to complete when you meet the dog.

Once we receive your adoption application we will call you to discuss what dog might be the best match for you. We will connect you with the foster home who has the dog you are interested in adopting. Once you meet the dog, let us know if it is a love match and if you would like to adopt the dog.
