Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet Senior Betsy is looking for her forever home!
We rescued Betsy from the Carson Shelter where she was dumped with her sister (not biologically but from the same home). The shelter sadly separated the sisters immediately and the Betsy all alone and scared. Betsy's sister was a younger pup and got adopted right away and poor Betsy just sat there trembling and afraid. When we saw her post, we knew we had to get her out and we did! The shelter released her without even spaying her so we recently had that done and she did wonderfully! Next, will be her dental, but we need to wait a few weeks in between putting her under anesthesia. Betsy is a 10 year old, 9lb, Chihuahua that is sweet and spunky! She is very smart and gets along with the other dogs in her foster home, but would really thrive and enjoy being your one and only. Once Betsy gets the hang of her new surroundings, she will have the potty training down in no time. We are looking for an adult only home with owners that are home most of the day and not gone long hours. A home with a safe balcony or even better a backyard....would be wonderful as she loves to sunbathe! Betsy has perfect manners when taken out and about and loves to be in a sling and run errands with you. Chihuahuas are a breed that have a long life span and Betsy has so many more years left to live and being in a loving and caring home would be the icing on the cake for her.
Betsy is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
We only adopt in the Greater Los Angeles Areas as an in person meet greet, home check, and trial period are required.
