Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet little Cali. We were told that Cali and her siblings are beagle/border collie mixes. We aren't so sure about that. Cali is the only one who has the beagle look, but she has very short legs. We think that there could be a little bassett in there or maybe even corgi.
Cali is being fostered with her brother, Cameron. They live to play. The run around like crazy and then crash for a bit. Cali can be a little possessive of her person (if sitting on their lap) and nips at and tries to chase away another dog if he/she approaches. She is working hard on house training and leash walking. We highly suggest reading up on her breed and note that she does have some herding instincts which means if you have children, she may nip at their heels.
If you are interested in meeting this crazy gal, please submit an application. She will make you smile everyday. All current pets MUST be up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason.

Please Note: We are making changes to our Foster to Adopt process. Limited resources to follow up on pending adoptions and delays in processing payments is adding to our financial restrictions. Going forward we will collect payment when the dog is transferred to the potential new owner and will be held for an agreed upon trial time. Exceptions or extended trial times will be considered on a case by case basis and will depend upon the need or situation.

We work hard to ensure the adoption process is as successful as possible, both for you and the animal you're considering adopting. We will work with you find the very best pet for you and your family. You can begin the process by looking at our available animals. We will try and give you as much basic information as possible. The next step is to complete an adoption application using our online form. This will allow us to determine if you and the animal you've chosen might be a good fit. We will contact you with any questions we might have, answer any questions or concerns, and schedule a time for you to meet the animal you're interested in.
Our adoption fees depend on a number of factors but typically range from $45 to $75 for cats and $125 to $300 for dogs. While adoption fees don’t come close to covering all the costs of caring for the animals we bring into rescue, it does make it easier for us to continue saving others. And really, it's impossible to put a price on the love and companionship a pet can bring to our lives.

All our adoptable animals are in foster homes. For this reason, we require that all potential adopters complete an adoption application prior to meeting an animal. We want to find the very best fit, both for the animal and for the adopter!
