My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

[DogName] is a COURTESY LISTING available for private adoption -- for more information, please contact the owner listed below. DO NOT apply through the GSRA website as this dog and owner are not affiliated with GSRA. Brittany FergusonEure, NC brittanynferguson92@gmail.com(757) 692-2226 Goose is a very energetic boy. He likes to please his humans, but can be very mischievous when left alone. He does well with other dogs his size that are not dominant. Due to Gooses size he can be a lot to handle to those that are willing to be stern with him. He does very well with a lot of consistency. He loves all humans of all shapes and sizes. He has been raised on a cattle farm and is a great herder. He is a true example of the German shepherd working breed and its looking for his human who knows the breed well. Contact the owner listed above for more information about [DogName]. Please visit our website www.gsdrescue.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

Once approved, we encourage applicants to visit adoption events to meet potential dogs that could be a match.
Before you fill out the application:
1). We do not adopt to individuals living outside of North Carolina, South Carolina, or Virginia.
2). If the only dog you are interested in has a (CL) after their name, this is a courtesy listing and we do not handle the adoptions of courtesy listings, please contact the person directly.

More about this rescue

Thank you for considering adopting a GSRA dog. We love that you are exploring rescuing a GSD. We firmly believe that the adoption of a dog is not one to be taken lightly. Because of this belief, our adoption process is what some would described as lengthy and can be emotional. If you are looking to take a dog home "tomorrow", unfortunately our organization is not for you.
