My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oh, Dusty!  What a handsome boy you are.  One of three, oh, so similar,  solid grey brothers, you can pick out Dusty due to his oh, so long slender body and his oh, so long legs.  Just oh, so sleek!  He has a matching long tail that he oh, so loves to rub up against everything he passes.  And his brothers just love to chase his long tail!  You can even find Dusty chasing his own tail.  Born in mid October, these babies were raised by a lady that loved them, but she soon realized she could not support six kittens.  She kept one, and the rest were surrendered to CCR.  All the  boys are quickly learning how to play and to climb their kitty tower.  The tower’s top shelf is a popular spot, great to watch the birds outside fluttering around the bird feeder.  Oh, how Dusty loves to watch those birds!  The kittens have free rein in their kitty room, as foster mom waves a wanded toy back and forth.  Oh, how they all want that toy!  Foster Mom needs another pair of arms!  Toss in a crinkle ball and they all dash off to attack it.  Hours of fun.  All the brothers seem to protect each other and like to groom one another.  It is a litter love fest!  Oh, it is also a purr fest.  There is a constant hum of motors running!  It is quite relaxing.  And it is oh, so gratifying to see these boys play, and blossom into happy and healthy kitties.  Dusty is slowly adjusting to his new surroundings.  He is the most cautious of the group, but there is a sweet boy in there oh, for sure.  He will need a home that will show him love and patience and time to feel safe.  Dusty comes around for head rubs and back scratches, but he is not ready to be picked up just yet.  Oh, it is in him.  It just needs to be coaxed out.  Dusty is destined to be a lap kitty oh, for certain.  Can you welcome him into your home?  Can you give him time to trust you?  Dusty will reward you a million times over, purring the entire way!  My, oh my.  Oh, Dusty!   Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped.

PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?
