Meet Solstice, a sweet, shy 5-month-old terrier mix puppy who’s looking for her forever home and her golden ticket out of the shelter! Solstice arrived at HSSM on March 7th after being found running stray in D`Iberville with her two siblings. While her siblings are full of energy and love to play, Solstice is a little more reserved. She can be a bit shy around new people and places, especially when loud, unfamiliar noises are involved. But that`s to be expected for a young pup who’s still adjusting to the world. Though we don’t know much about her past, what we do know is that Solstice has the potential to be an amazing companion for the right family. Don`t let her shy nature fool you—once she feels comfortable and safe, her goofy, wiggly personality shines through, just like a solstice! Solstice forgets all her worries when there`s a squeaky toy around, and her nervousness fades away in the presence of love and patience. This sweet girl is an introvert at heart, but she absolutely melts when cuddled, carried around, or simply held close. If you’re the type of person who enjoys quiet nights in, reading, watching movies, or taking naps, Solstice is the perfect companion for you. If you`re ready to offer this precious girl a loving home, come meet Solstice at HSSM today! She’s sure to steal your heart and make you fall in love with her gentle, affectionate spirit. Don’t miss out on the chance to make her a part of your family!
