Meet Shinx!

Ready to add some electric energy to your home? Meet Shinx—our dazzling little showstopper with a white coat, gray tabby spots, and the most impressive tail swish in the entire Pokémon litter! This charismatic kitty is equal parts charming, curious, and cuddly, with a personality that will absolutely light up your life.

If you're looking for a kitten who runs toward you the second you make eye contact—only to get adorably distracted mid-way because, oh look, something shiny? That’s our Shinx. Every day is an adventure for this happy-go-lucky boy.

Shinx's Favorite Things:

Glitter balls, pipe cleaners, and anything that moves (or doesn’t—he’ll play with it anyway)

Running, pouncing, and epic peek-a-boo battles

Snuggling up near his people when the zoomies are over

Being doted on, petted, and of course… mealtime!

Shinx is a social sweetheart who loves being around people and other cats. He’s been raised with men, women, older kids, and fellow felines—and while he hasn’t met any dogs yet, his foster family thinks he’d adjust just fine to a respectful, cat-savvy pup.

This playful little lion will absolutely need a feline companion in his forever home—ideally one of his Pokémon siblings (catch 'em all!) or a resident cat buddy. He thrives on companionship, play, and love, and will be happiest in a home that can give him all three.

Shinx’s foster family thinks he’ll grow into a mellow, affectionate cat once his kitten phase winds down—but for now, it’s all about fun, games, and snuggle breaks.

You will be emailed a link to our online adoption contract. Simply fill it out online to transfer ownership from the rescue to you!

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
