Meet the Pet
Abigail is a sweet girl that needs time to feel safe. She came into rescue from an extremely high kill shelter, and we are trying to find Abby her best family ever! She did get adopted at the shelter originally, but the adopters returned her quickly. She was nervous at their house, and she reportedly bit the adopter. This occured in the first 1 hour of her being home, as the adopters were attempting to pull some mats off of her fur. She was then adopted again with our rescue to a wonderful couple. They tried and tried, but she continued to only bond to one person, and she is aggressive towards the second person. Abigail needs an experienced adopter. Abigail bonds to one person. She would do best in a female home that does not have many visitors or are willing to separate her when others are present. She is very protective of her owner and bonds to one person. She is currently working on this, but we are searching for a special adopter that can safely manage her "owner guarding" behavior. Abigail is a sweetheart with her one owner, but she will protect you in any way possible. This includes your spouse, or partner. She is very sensitive to noise, but she is noisy when she gets over aroused. Abigail can be dog selective and loves some dogs, and hates some others. We would reccomend that she be separated in the event you have company at your house. EXPERIENCED FOSTER AND/OR ADOPTER NEEDED.
SHE NEEDS AN ADULT ONLY, FEMALE HOME. NO CHILDREN PLEASE
