Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Probably a miniature poodle. Weight 13.5 lbs.
Vet says about 4 yrs old.
He was come 180 degrees from being picked up.
He is FANTASTIC on leash, trots along like a typical poodle you see in France!
He is timid at first but warms up and loves to be with you.
Will follow you from room to room unless too lazy to get up from his relaxation spot.
He plays well with my other 2 dogs, would definitely prefer a home with another dog as he clearly was with one prior to us rescuing him.
Poodles are typically known for fussy eating.. this boy eats well. Great manners. Takes treats gently and no food aggression I have witnessed. They all 3 eat together.
He prefers sleeping on bed with us... but we spoil him. We are trying to make up for his ugly past. He shares our bed well with his fur sister.
He is potty trained to either go outside, will use doggy door, or use pee pads when we leave. He is very trust worthy on this. Crates are a no-go, though.
Not a chewers.
Likes toys now..and plays with his step sister. He is submissive one she calls the shots although she's smaller...
He likes to chill on couch right next to you whenever possible or near you.
Would be best suited in home with someone who isn't away much, and ideally another pup.
This boy is learning to trust people and doing remarkable..
He is fine with cats not reactive he spent the night away with another foster who had 2. She said he was not a fan if her 2 big dogs.
We have 2 small to med size pups.
He needs someone willing to continue to give positive reinforcement of love and patience and kindness.
Listens well. And can be easily redirected when doing something He shouldn't...like chasing a squirrel or barking.
Sweet sweet guy.
Local adoption fee in Texas is $200

Additional adoption info
Adoption application required.
Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..
If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.

We are a TEXAS based rescue who transport regularly to this area. Our dogs are in TEXAS and will be transported to you if you adopt from us.
Our pets are posted on our website, and most live in homes with their fosters. We live with our foster dogs to get to know them in a home setting and to let them know that life can be good away from the streets.
We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dogs particular quirks and personalities so we can give accurate observations of the dogs you are interested in.
We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
