Cricket is a 5 to 6-year-old Shiba Inu mix who has spent her life in a crate with a breeder until she was no longer useful. Thankfully, rescue stepped in to give her a second chance. Understandably, she is incredibly shy and almost unapproachable, but beneath her fear is a gentle soul longing for security. If picked up, she will sit in your lap for hours, finding comfort in quiet companionship.
Cricket will need a very patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. A secure fenced yard is a must, along with another confident dog to help her feel safe and show her the way. With love, patience, and the right home, Cricket will slowly learn that the world isn’t so scary after all. Could you be the one to give her the safe and loving forever home she deserves?

An adoption coordinator will contact you by email within 48 hrs to set up an interview and go over your application

Once your application is approved, you will receive a pre-approval letter which is valid for 6 months as you search for the perfect pet!

We provide meet and greets for pre-approved applicants and their families.

An application with vet/landlord reference check and virtual home visit is required.
The adoption donation amount of $550 is fully refundable if the dog you choose is not the right fit for your family within the first seven (7) days. Every dog is fully vetted, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and microchipped with lifetime registration.
