Meet Elizabeth!

This adorable girl is an African Sideneck Turtle who was surrendered by a partner for not eating. She proved to be as confusing as she is sweet and immediately started eating in her foster home!

She is around 6 months old, and is swimming and eating great! She loves her floating food sticks and so far just keeps feeder fish as pets.

Noah's Ark Rescue Project and Sanctuary (NARPS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization which is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need, as well as educating the public on important issues, and implementing low cost vaccination and sterilization clinics. Our goal is to address vital contributing factors which lead to the overpopulation of domesticated pets. Overbreeding and overpopulation directly affects the number of animals who find themselves in shelters and in need of rescuing. NARPS is currently operating mainly as a foster based program, with ambitions to eventually have a facility to house for our rescues. We are not a breed or species specific rescue, At NARPS, big & small, hooves & paws, we rescue them all!
