Meet Macy!

Macy is a sweet bully mix girl and is brand new to our shelter. We're still getting to know her personality, so we'll update once we know more! This sweet girl came into the shelter as a stray, and she's quite shy and anxious in the crowded shelter environment. Miss Macy is ready for her forever home where she can feel safe and loved - we're hoping that's with you!

We encourage you to meet the furry friend you are interested in before filling out an application.

Meet the Pet

Submit Application

Once you find the furry friend you want to adopt, a quick adoption application will need to be filled out.

4.
Approve Application

After the application is submitted, we will review it and contact you if your application is chosen.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Once your application is approved, we will contact you to finalize the adoption process!

All that is needed for the adoption application is a
**valid driver license**

We are located at 1600 Johnson Road in Petersburg, Virginia.
Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday 10am till 3pm.
We are closed Saturdays and Sundays (as well as holidays).
However, if needed before or after hours, please give us a call!
