Here's what the humans have to say about me:
****SENIOR ALERT**** This precious senior boy is Gus, left in a baseball field at a local junior college. He weighs 49 pounds and is approx 8 years old. My Dog Scanner app suggests the possibility of American English Coonhound, Anatolian Shepherd and Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever in his mix. Whatever is in his breed mix, he is truly a sweetheart! It is obvious this boy has not been well cared for as can be seen in his appearance. and most likely lived outside. It’s time for a 180 degree turnaround in his golden years! He has a gentle and loving spirit. He is showing signs of lameness in his rear left leg, which could be due to arthritis or an old injury. He walks nicely, though slowly, on a leash, and stays close to a human friend. He is well mannered and has a low-key personality. Gus is a friendly boy who is more than happy to receive loving attention. He stayed close to me. He loved spending time scouting out all the interesting smells in our shelter yard. He did his business in the yard as well. Gus deserves far better than he’s received. Will you help him find a home in which he can spend his remaining years in comfort, receiving loving attention and plenty of TLC?
