Hi, my name is Celeste and I am just the prettiest girl!!! A lot of people have asked what breed I am and in case you’re curious, I am 100% good girl! I am about one years old and fully grown even though in some pictures, I look like I’m a huge dog I am only 16 pounds!!!! I am proficient in making friends and have never met a dog I don’t like and my foster mom says I come alive when I’m around other dogs! So I’d love to live with at least one other dog if I can! While I can come off shy initially, I am very affectionate and love hanging out with my people and four legged friends! I’m still learning how to walk on a leash so having a yard is a must so that I can do my business and get my energy out!! I am a typical young dog with lots of energy and I love to run around in the yard with my foster siblings! I am getting the hang of house breaking but definitely need my family to make sure I go out every few hours and after meals etc. I am crate trained and sleep through the night quietly but I will let you I can see you if you walk by the crate! My foster mom says I’ve never had a bad day a day in my life and just have such a happy go lucky personality! I’d love to have a family of my own to barbecue with my foster family are vegetarians and I’m more of a burger, girl! Bcaaofnj.org

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process starts with the applicant filling out an adoption application for the pet they are interested in. When they have completed and submitted the application, the screening process is started, which consists of a vet check, phone interview and home visit. Once all the steps are completed, we determine, by our findings, if they are approved, and if so, then they are allowed to adopt from our organization. The final step is they must complete the adoption contract, along with the donation for the animal, which goes into our medical fund to defray their medical costs. All of our animals are spayed and neutered, up to date on all their shots, including rabies, they are parasite free and on heartworm preventative.

More about this rescue

We are the Burlington County Animal Alliance (BCAA)located in Central New Jersey. We are a non-profit organization 501(3)(c), all volunteer rescue that saves animals from our local shelter and surrounding areas of New Jersey that are in danger of being euthanized. We take them into our program, get them the necessary medical care they need and adopt them back out to loving forever homes. We have 60 volunteers, many that open their homes to foster the homeless animals, we do fundraisers to raise money so we can continue to save the dogs and cats in need. We run strictly on donations from our adoptions and people who support our work.BCAA adopts to families in New Jersey, parts of Southeastern Pennsylvania and parts of New York.
