My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jasper!

Jasper is a 5-year-old Shih Tzu mix who weighs 25 lbs of pure love! This sweet and cuddly boy is the ultimate companion—he lives to snuggle and will happily curl up next to you like a furry, soft teddy bear.

Jasper is great on a leash and enjoys going for walks, taking in all the sights and smells. He also rides nicely in the car, making him the perfect travel buddy! He gets along well with other dogs and is doing great with both crate and house training.

If you’re looking for a devoted, affectionate pup to be your best friend, Jasper is your guy! Could you be his forever home?

If you are interested in adopting Jasper, please submit an inquiry directly with Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet’s age.

***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.***
