*Meet Hazel!**

At 4 years old and a solid 74 pounds, Hazel is a fun-loving, affectionate pup who’s always up for an adventure. With her outgoing personality and love for cuddles, she’s the perfect mix of playful and sweet.

Hazel’s favorite activities include chasing squirrels, playing ball, tossing around her beloved busy bee toy, and splashing in the water hose. She’s also a social butterfly, getting along great with other furry friends—both dogs and even cats! She’s fantastic with kids too, making her a great companion for the whole family.

Always eager for a car ride or a walk with her favorite person, Hazel thrives on adventure. But when the day winds down, she’s more than happy to curl up next to you for a cozy Netflix binge. With Hazel by your side, every day is full of fun, love, and plenty of snuggles!

All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.

ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location.

Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. We understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
