My name is Ketchup!

This 2-year-old shepherd mix is the perfect blend of sweet and spunky. Ketchup was recently surrendered through no fault of her own — her owner had to move and couldn't take her along. Now she's ready to find her forever home where she can shower her new family with love.

Ketchup is a quiet girl who rarely barks but always lights up with excitement when she sees her people. She’s a world-class kisser, a loyal shadow, and absolutely adores kids — though she may take a little extra time to warm up to new adults.

She has great leash manners (no pulling!) and loves her walks and playtime. Fetch is one of her favorite games — she’s still working on the “let go” part, but she’s having a blast practicing! She's potty trained, kennel trained, and sleeps soundly through the night, whether in her kennel, on the couch, or — if you let her — cuddled up in bed.

Ketchup is full of energy and enjoys anything she can chew on, especially if treats are involved — she's a pro at catching Cheerios mid-air! She knows "sit" and "lay down," and is learning "shake" just for fun. She’s easily redirected and eager to learn.

Ketchup has previously attended doggy daycare and done well socializing with other dogs. She’s playful and curious around new dog friends and might do best with a larger or male dog after proper introductions.
